Welcome to the home of The Raven.

This site is designed to provide background on the world, places and people of fantasy's favourite mercenary team.

Just trail your cursor over the map to the left and the character portraits above. If words appear or change colour, click on them to learn more about that person or place.

If you click on the word 'Balaia' a window will pop up with an overview of the history, geography, economics and culture of the world. And if you click on the Raven logo, you'll be able to read a potted history of the mercenary team in another pop-up window. Just close those windows when you're done reading to return to the main map.

From time to time you'll find additional links within the passages of information to things like college lectures and information on The Protectors and other groups. Again, some of these will appear in separate pop-up windows.

And you can click on 'Home' (bottom right) to return to this welcome message at any time.

Just one more note: For simplicity, all characters' ages etc. are given as they were at the opening of Dawnthief.
